Xbox “Surface” Details & Specs Leak

By: ShadowKingpin

With Microsoft’s major announcement only being hours away, a potential leak has happened showing off the details and tech specs for their reveal titled, Xbox Surface.

The Xbox Surface will sport a 7 inch 720p LED Multi-Touch display, 3.1 GHz processor with 6 active cores, 5GB of System Memory, 4 USB 3.0 ports, an SD card slot for SD, SDHC & SDXC, 250GB 10k RPM HDD and so much more.  If this is Microsoft’s answer to the iPad, then Apple has just got a run for their money.  More will be revealed during the official announcement, but until then, this is a rumor.

  1. Surface is their multitouch table screen thingie (which is quite cool, got to play with it a couple of weeks ago), but these specs sound very weird!! 7″ sounds like mobile device, but the rest sounds not like something made to save on power.

    • This is a mobile device. The Microsoft Surface is is the multitouch table, while the Xbox Surface is a high performance tablet.

  2. A mobile device with a 10k harddrive, 5gb ram and over 3GHz … who long is the battery supposed to last? An hour tops? If it´s a mobile device those specs are bullshit – I would bet on that. 😉

    • I very much agree with you, but I won’t hold my breath since it’s Microsoft, and I’m sure they’ll do anything to top Apple’s iPad. We just have a few more hours to go.

  3. lol – Microsoft topping the iPad? What ever happens, but that is a very unlikely thing to happen. The iPad is more than hardware, that´s why it´s the leading system and MS won´t stand a change in getting close (especially since they pretty much scared away a lot of talent with their indie treatment). 😉
