Sony in talks to possibly sell their NYC Skyscraper
You know that beautiful skyscraper in New York City that has that little circle in the middle of the roof? That belongs to Sony, but not for long.
The NY Post is reporting that Sony is in talks with commercial real estate broker Newmark Grubb Knight Frank about the possible sale of the building (With it being valued at $700 million- $1 billion). Apparently, no plan came out of the talks, but Sony is currently looking into 3 options: 1. Rent out parts of the building. 2. Selling the entire building and then leasing back some of it. 3. A full-fledged sale.
At a time where Sony his hurt financially, it isn’t surprising that this move is being made. We only hope that Sony makes the right decisions.
